Tobit, himself, dictates the Book of Tobit in the first person. There are very few first-person writings in the Bible. Many or most of the psalmists refer to themselves in the psalms that they wrote; the author Luke breaks out into the first-person plural in parts of the Acts of the Apostles, when he was present for the events he is describing; and of course the writers of the letters of the New Testament speak in their own voice.
